Meet Dr Louise Knapp
Dr Louise Knapp grew up in Brisbane where she completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland. She then moved to the Gold Coast completing her medical school training at Griffith University.
Louise completed her residency at Gold Coast Hospital, spending time working in rural general practice, paediatrics, obstetrics, and emergency medicine. She obtained her fellowship in general practice in 2018.
Louise is married with three children. She loves running, yoga and swimming to stay fit.
Louise enjoys all aspects of general practice and caring for patients of all ages.
She has obtained further qualifications in child health, reproductive health, and sexual health. She also enjoys preventative health and lifestyle medicine.
Her approach to all consultations is holistic and comprehensive, striving to care for patients in a way that improves quality of life with evidence-based treatments.
