Meet Dr Phyo Thandar

Dr Phyo Thandar has been practicing skin cancer medicine since 2016. Dr Thandar is a member of Skin Cancer College of Australasia and holds Certificate of skin cancer medicine, Certificate of dermatoscopy and Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery. She has also completed advance surgical training in skin cancer surgery.

Dr Thandar is an accredited skin cancer doctor through the Skin Cancer College Australasia.

She is thorough at comprehensive full body skin cancer checks including biopsy, surgical removal of skin lesions, and provide accurate dermoscopic assessment for melanoma and other skin cancer diagnosis.

Dr Thandar is confident in performing various skin cancer procedures including complex skin flaps/grafts on legs ,face and neck. Her main focus is to cure skin cancers. She also gives great attention to achieving optimal cosmetic outcome and scar minimisation.

Dr Thandar also provides non-surgical treatments for skin cancers such as cryotherapy, topical cream and she has diploma in dermatology and has experience in treating other common skin conditions.
