Meet Dr Phyo Thandar

Dr Thandar has been a General Practitioner for 6 years on the Gold Coast. Her areas of interest include dermatology, skin cancer, women’s Health, chronic disease management, antenatal care, paediatric care, and mental health.

Dr Thandar undertook further studies in skin cancer medicine, surgery and dermoscopy and then went on to become an accredited skin cancer doctor through the Skin Cancer College Australasia.

She is confident at comprehensive skin cancer checks including, biopsys, surgical removal of skin lesions, and dermoscopic assessment. Dr Thandar also provides non-surgical treatments for skin cancers and is accomplished in treating other common skin conditions.

Dr Thandar has additional training in child and women’s health and is passionate about all aspects of family medicine.
