Meet Dr James Matthews

Dr Matthews commenced his career working as a general practitioner in regional New South Wales but has since followed his passion, now working as a skin cancer practitioner on the Gold Coast.

Dr Matthews recently completed his Masters in Skin Cancer at the University of Queensland, making him an expert in skin cancer diagnosis and management. He offers the Gold Coast community skilled prevention advice, thorough skin checks and cancer removals with excellent cosmetic results.

He is a doctor who strives to build rapport with every patient he sees and is well known for his gentle nature and sense of humour. Outside of work, Dr Matthews enjoys martial arts classes and spending time at home with his wife Jamie and their growing family.
